about

MOC are Wolfgang Schmetterer and Anatol Locker from Munich, Germany. Their fifth album, „Diorama,“ is multi-faceted. At the first glace the ten tracks are open and accessible. But if you drill deeper, you will be highly rewarded: Diorama unfolds an inviting sound cosmos for those who want to delve deeper.

Generative micro-melodies dance around growling basslines, faint horns emerge from massive sine waves, and sugary Ondes Martenot sounds meet distorted reverb tails. There are no off-the-shelf sounds here, only hand-picked sound-mania. Precise mixes set the MOC-typical soundscapes lovingly in the scene.
